MIXING GUIDE: It is recommended to use a ‘hollow cone’ nozzle bearing sprayer. Fill the tank half full with clean water. Mix ELESTAL 54WG as recommended in the dosage table and mix with one liter of clean water in a separate container and stir until completely dissolved. Then add the mixture to the sprayer tank and add the remaining clean water required and stir. Do not use at a rate higher than recommended. Do not store the remaining mixture in ELESTAL 54WG in the sprayer tank.
SPRAYING GUIDE: Spray when pest infestation reaches action threshold level (ATL). For good control, spray thoroughly on both upper and lower leaf surfaces. Repeat spray at 7-day intervals, when infestation persists. Do not apply more than 2 sprays per season. If treatment needs to be repeated, use ELESTAL 54WG alternately with insecticides from different groups that have different modes of action.
RESISTANCE MANAGEMENT: Repeated use of ELESTAL 54WG and other insecticides from Group 23 or Group 4 on successive generations of target insects may cause the generation of insects to become resistant to the insecticide. To avoid resistance, use insecticides from different groups with different modes of action. Repeated use of insecticides from the same group may result in complete loss of control of some or all of the insect population. Combining alternative methods of pest control can be used as part of an integrated pest management (IPM) approach.
